(for reduced-price tickets, a voucher is sent via e-mail and tickets are collected at the ticket office of the site you are visiting, upon proof of eligibility)

  • Students of Universities - Higher Education Institutes, Technological Education Institutes or equivalent schools/institutes of non-EU countries
  • Seniors over 65 years old from Greece and the other EU Member States
  • Parent chaperones on educational visits of primary education schools (reduced-price tickets for this specific category are not available online)

* Note: For the period from November 1st to March 31st all visitors that select single-use ticket are entitled to a general reduced-price admission (single-use tickets of this specific period are sent directly via e-mail).


Free admission

(free admission tickets are not available online)

  • Young people up to the age of 18
  • Students of Universities - Higher Education Institutes, Technological Education Institutes, Military Schools or equivalent schools/institutes of Greece and the other EU Member States, as well as of Schools of Guides
  • Teaching staff accompanying pupils/students on educational visits of schools & institutes of all educational levels, including military schools
  • Unemployed with valid unemployment card
  • Disabled visitors (minimum degree of disability: 67%) and their assistant
  • Journalists
  • Members of the Chamber of Fine Arts of Greece and of equivalent chambers of the other EU Member States
  • Tourist guides
  • Holders of an ICOM-ICOMOS membership card
  • Members of Associations of Friends of Greek Museums and Archaeological Sites
  • Official guests of the Greek State
  • Holders of a free pass of three-year duration (subject to renewal):
        Graduates and holders of post-graduate and doctoral titles in History and Archaeology, Museum Studies, Architecture, Fine Arts, Conservation of Antiquities and Works of Art, from educational institutes of Greece and the other EU Member States
        Directors and Members of foreign archaeological schools in Greece

* Note: During Open Days all visitors have free access to archaeological sites, monuments and museums (March 6th, April 18th, May 18th, the last weekend of September, October 28th, the first Sunday of each month from November 1st to March 31st).
